Approximate dimensions are 3.25" H x 4.5" W with a 14oz volume. Fired in an oxidation atmosphere for approximately eleven and a half hours, then cooled slowly over about twenty hours.
This 14oz mug was first hand-thrown on the wheel, then the exterior was lightly textured. It was given a two tone finished with a beautiful rustic white glaze and a smooth coffee cream glaze with hints of green and amber.
These stoneware pieces utilize food safe glazes and are dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to best preserve their beauty and finish. While durable, they can chip if handled roughly—please treat them with care. I personally prefer hand washing my handmade pottery and do not use it in the microwave.
