This hand-thrown 8oz mug is crafted with a rich dark chocolate brown clay body. It features rustic hand-carved vertical facets—embracing natural irregularity and organic textures that offer a wonderful tactile surface to grip. After bisque firing, this mug was hand-painted in a smooth coffee cream glaze with hints of green and amber that contrast beautifully with the exposed rich dark chocolate clay.
These stoneware pieces utilize food safe glazes and are dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to best preserve their beauty and finish. While durable, they can chip if handled roughly—please treat them with care. I personally prefer hand washing my handmade pottery and do not use it in the microwave.
