This hand-thrown spoon rest is crafted with a speckled reddish brown clay body and features narrowly ribbed rings on the plate and and gently pulled down lip to allow a spoon to lay flat. The piece is finished with a beautiful dark blue glaze.
These stoneware pieces utilize food safe glazes and are dishwasher safe, though hand washing is recommended to best preserve their beauty and finish. While durable, they can chip if handled roughly—please treat them with care. I personally prefer hand washing my handmade pottery and do not use it in the microwave.
